IRBIS

IRBIS is a computer system of data gathering and state control of industrial and civil facilities. It carries out condition control of different sensors, and allows remote control of additional actuating devices that are part of the monitoring system. IRBIS can be set as the core of the united monitoring system or can be adapted into the control systems and panels as a separate subsystem to control moving and stationary objects.

IRBIS system:

  • Uses any data transfer channels, including already existing at the facility;
  • Uses unified data transfer protocols;
  • Requires minimal additional equipment and data channels;
  • Has as an ability of quick channel type change, minimizing stuff interference;
  • Provides high self-descriptiveness, efficiency and security of the transferred data.

IRBIS works under Linux Debian operation system. IRBIS software processes received information and makes decisions on change of object’s state or change of transfer channel’s parameters. Moreover, there is an ability of multi-level reservation of data transfer channels when using IRBIS.

In case if IRBIS communicator is not able to transmit data to the control panel by main address, data can be passed to the reserved address of the same panel or to the backup control panel.

If the dedicated line (or local network) does not work, IRBIS communicator uses connected modem (GSM/GPRS, GSM, radio-pad “Bankomsvyaz”, trunked radio station with capability of data transfer, etc) to launch the Internet via another provider. IRBIS can directly call the supervisory panel by especially dedicated phone line. If the main call channel does not work, IRBIS communicator may use either another provider or reserved communication channel.
