IRBIS

IRBIS is a computer system of data gathering and controlling for industrial and civil objects. It carries out control of the different sensors placed over the controlled object. It also allows remote controlling of some additional devices included into the monitor system. IRBIS may become the kernel of the united monitor system or it can be adapted into the control panels and systems as a separate moving and fixed objects control subsystem.

IRBIS system:

  • Uses any data transfer channels, alongside with those already existing at the object;
  • Uses unified data transfer protocols;
  • Requires minimal additional equipment and data channels;
  • Has an opportunity of efficient channel type change, minimizing human interference;
  • Guarantees high self-descriptiveness, efficiency and security of the transferred data stream.

IRBIS works under Linux Debian operation system. IRBIS software allows processing of the received information and make decisions about changing control object or transfer channel parameters. There is an opportunity of multi-level data transfer channel reserving when while using IRBIS.

In case if IRBIS communicator is not able to transmit data to the main supervision panel, data can be passed to the reserve address of the same panel or to the reserve panel.

If the dedicated line (or local area network) doesn’t work, IRBIS communicator uses connected modem (GSM/GPRS, GSM, radio-pad “Bankomsvyaz”, trunking data transfer capable radio station etc.) to launch the Internet via another provider. IRBIS can directly call the supervision panel via the special dedicated phone line. If the main call channel is out of order, IRBIS communicator may use either another provider or reserve transfer channel.
