VIT Company held an express-test of Overseer PCI video capture boards in one- and two-board configurations on one compute.
Testing PC configuration: - Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6550
- Capacity of RAM: 2 GB
- Video boar: nVidia GeForce 7600 GS
- Operational system: Windows XP Professional SP2
The most valuable result of testing is that one PC (price is less than $1000) with two Overseer PCI video capture boards makes it possible to process up to 16 video surveillance channels with frequency 25 frames per second at 720*288 resolution on all channels.
Additionally, on more powerful PC configuration (Intel Core 2 Quad E6600+4GB ram+GeForce 8600 GT) Overseer AutoCode system can not only process 16 input video flows, but carry out number plates recognition in 8 channels. |
